Island Prime is actually two restaurants under one roof, the first is Island Prime serving steak and seafood, and the other is C Level Lounge featuring California cuisine. For spectacular bay and downtown San Diego skyline views, ask for tables 21 or 26. Chef Deborah Scott’s Island Prime features metro steaks and seafood in a romantic setting. Excellent cuts of USDA prime mid-western corn beef steaks include an 8- and 12-oz. prime fillet mignon, a huge 22-oz. prime porterhouse steak, a 16-oz. New York steak, an 18-oz. bone-n-rib eye steak and a 12- and 20-oz. prime rib.
All of these entrées are cooked to perfection. Seafood lovers will be delighted with the taste and presentation of the cedar plank roasted salmon, the center cut swordfish and the hazel nut crusted diver scallops with goat cheese.
