For 50 years Barry appeared on the cover of all of his books (see sample at left). while publishing his “Honest Guide” to San Diego he has reviewed every aspect of his hometown including dining in 10,000 restaurants. In writing his online restaurant reviews he still goes unannounced, pays for his own meals, and he inspects the kitchens of each restaurant he reviews.
