Be sure to visit this winery with its medieval flavor and artistic courtyard fountain. The cost for a regular tasting is ($5) on weekdays and ($10) on weekends.
As an added quality factor, all of their wines are sealed with Nomacorc, a synthetic closure that has all the attributes of natural cork without the chance of cork taint. No winery using natural corks can guarantee that none of their wines are tainted. It’s a game of Russian roulette you don’t play with Baily wines.
Also at the winery is Carol’s Restaurant (951-676-9243), offering casual indoor and patio dining.
On your next visit to Temecula come and taste Baily wines and see for yourself why the Oxford Companion to Wine calls “Baily Winery one of the two most artistically successful of the small pioneering wineries in Temecula”. Wine tasting is available at two locations: the main Tasting Room on Rancho California Road for current releases, and the Baily Estate tasting room at the production facility on Pauba Road for library wines (aged, older, red wines).
