Nestled in a quiet corner of San Marcos (North County), is Twin Oaks Valley Winery, owned and operated by Malcolm and Kathryn Gray, with the help of their son, Michael. Their philosophy is to purchase grapes only grown in San Diego County in support of local growers. They say good wine comes from good grapes and we strive to find the best that San Diego County has to offer.
The Gray Family is committed to sustainability throughout the wine making process. Being a good land steward and being sensitive to the environment around the winery operation is their focus. They select only organic based products. All water used in the winery operation is collected and reused to irrigate the vineyard surrounding the operation.
In addition to making their own wine, Twin Oaks Valley Winery offers its facility to start-up wineries, individuals, groups and organizations to make wine for a fee, called “Custom Crush.” They are a bonded winery with commercial equipment, processes and access to their winemaker.
