This family owned Euro Cafe and Pub had its inspiration to become a reality with the passing of a younger brother of the Fulton Family. This son who lived in New York loved San Diego so much that his New York Friends called him Dan Diego. So in his memory he has become the patron saint that inspires everyone for all of the other members of the family, to the employees  and even to the customers.

The menu is a traditional mix of small plates and hearty pub food, paired with an eclectic mix of excellent Euro Beers. So finding something delicious to eat is never a problem. And the chef preparing these memorable meals is Manager Chef Ryan Fulton, who is also a member of the family.

So if you’re cruising along Morena Boulevard, as many first time patrons of DanDiego’s have done, you’ll undoubtedly notice a host of waving flags including the American Flag, the French Flag and even a German Flag announcing that this is where you’ll find awesome International beers and superb Euro Pub cuisine.

What to often a delemmia because they offer  are both great specials and awesome standards from their extensive menu including seven appetizers including corned beef sliders , six salads and soups including a savory Irish beef stew,house made breads,  and 15 sides and snacks such as their memorable smoked coleslaw, German Potato salad, cold smoked salmon, and house brinded sauerkraut.


For authentic tasting Bangers and Mash ($13) you’ll undoubtedly rave about their house made bangers over mashed potatoes with carmelized onion gravy and stewed cabbage. Meatloaf lovers will undoubtedly say that Pop’s meatloaF with onions bell peppers and served with seasoned mashed potatoes and carmelized onion grave is the world’s best.

Still another house favorite is the Irish beer battered fish or shrimp and chips. This is a traditional Irish staple made with cod or shrimp, Smithwick’s Beer Batter  and served with steak fries and house tartar sauce.

The German pate ($13) with the choice of two sausages and two sides served wh rye bread and house made mustard with sides such as huse cured sauerkraut, braised red cabbage, german potato salad or mashed potatoes also with sausages including smoked andouille, irish bangers beer sausage, liverwurst, black and white  pudding and bratwurst and spicy Italian meatballs is an incredibly delicious meal.


No less impressive is their eleven item sandwich menu featuring your choice of steak fries, cheese fried, smoked cole slaw, bruit cusp and house salad  or a Caesar saladT. Top  selections here include their open faced Irish Reuben ($12.50) or he beef Pastrami. But all are good!



Where to sit? That’s a good question as they offer two patios with one facing the street offering a sweeping view, which may include watching the Coaster or AMTRAK glide by. The other overlooks the parking lot. Both are popular. If you choose to dine inside you’ll undoubtedly notice that they offer a dozen beers on tap.



A glance at their bar menu will show that their imported beer and cider menu to be second to none. And the owner really knows his beers. So if you are a beer drinker and come here fairly often you will find yourself discovering the best beers in the world.

A popular house specialty is their rotating Weekly Rotating Beer and Daily Special which could be their popular pulled pork BBQ burger other house made mozzarella cheese sandwich is mouthwatering too.

One of their knowledgable servers can be a big help as the beverage menu is a bit longer than the food menu, which tell you want you are in store to discover that this Euro Pub is equally well know for it’s amazing food and it’s fabulous hard to find international beers.

The selection includes over 50 hard to find ales, lagers, IPS’s, and local micro brews. So stepping  inside this unique Euro Cafe and Pub is like stepping into your favorite restaurant where the feeling is warm and friendly and the food and beverages are superb.



The desserts are so outstanding that you may occasionally find yourself dining elsewhere and coming here for dessert.

All of the food cooked here is prepared with love, but it is not better expressed than with their memorable desserts. While everyone has their favorite dessert, most will tell you that there is not better dessert in all the world than the bread pudding served with a tantalizing Jamison’s Whisky sauce giving the bread pudding a deep, rich honey whisky flavor.
