This fun retro diner in the popular landmark hotel in Mission Valley has been a favorite for locals as well as visitors for nearly 50o years with seating both inside and on an outdoor patio. The inside decor is decorated with what’s called their royal decor consisting of drawings of waffle characters holding forks with some characters having a crown on their head. Obviously, both kids and adults are amused with the decor, which has neen a fixture sine the restaurant opened.
Popular entrees include Bacon Waffle & Eggs and way you like them, Eggs Waffle Benedict, delicious Banana Nut Waffle. The list goes on and on with unique offerings like the popular chicken and waffles. Extras that make a meal extra delicious include waffles topped with whipped cream, Bacon Galore, Hash Browns, Freshly squeezed orange juice. and adults can even get a bloody Mary or a cocktail of their choice.
