When in Julian dine here, passing thru or just looking for a great road trip, Overseeing this highly recommended roadside restaurant is famed owner /chef and Cordon Bleu trained Chef Manley. He’s also locally born and raised in Julian. So, owning a restaurant in Julian was a dream come true.
This impressive bistro offers farm fresh produce from nearby farms along with impressive local and regional wines along with fresh fish and Nebraska quality meats. Memorable entrees from their daily menu include a fabulous tasting lobster bisque with a splash of Sherry and their Summer Embers Salad topped with a balsamic-vinaigrette dressing is refreshing.
Main course entrees worth raving about include their always fresh Catch of the Day prepared with carrot-ginger puree with coconut milk, quinoa, Avacado & chef’s vegetables. Plus, the 6 oz. filet mignon accented with Rosemary-garlic butter, Yukon whipped potatoes and perfectly cooked vegetables is always excellent. Their hand crafted desserts desserts are a fitting conclusion to a memorable meal. A real show stopper is Jeremy’s Signature Triple Layer Carrot Cake. Yet, the FRESH APPLE COBBLER, a pan glazed and oven roasted with cinnamon butter, sugar, German crumble top, with whipped cream and chef’s caramel sauce is hard to pass up
