Del Mar is the only city in the county with a thoroughbred horse race tract.It was founded in 1937 by actor Bing Crosby. This colorful event is a must-see summer and fall event. Post time is 2 p.m. daily and 4 p.m. on Fridays. Gates open at 1 p.m. For details call 858-771- 5605.
